Sooke Update #1

Students landed safely in Victoria, BC around 2pm local time and were met by their homestay families. Although tired, students seemed excited to start their 5-week study. As they arrived on a Thursday, they were able to take the weekend to rest before starting school on Monday.  For their first day of classes students were given an orientation of the course and learned about Queen Victoria (great-grandmother to Queen Elizabeth II) the namesake of British Columbia's capital city.
