Sooke Update #5

Students said goodbye to their host families with many tears shed and headed to Victoria airport for their first flight to Vancouver.  Once they arrived at Kansai International Airport in Osaka they were met by their parents and BC/DD staff. Although they had a long flight and were extremely tired they greeted us with smiles. Notably their English skill has greatly improved over such a short period of time. We are happy to see them safe and sound and hope for their continued success in their studies. In particular, Project Director Gabriel Estrada would like to see students using English amongst themselves even during break time from now on.
