Field Trip to Osaka Science Museum

As a compliment to the Science 10 curriculum, OGCIS teachers and students visited the Osaka Science Museum located in Nakanoshima on Friday, December 13th. At the museum, students were able to interact directly with concepts from their physics and chemistry lessons. We were delighted to see a lot of the permanent displays had English available. After exploring the 3 floors of the museum, they enjoyed a show from the planetarium which included an explanation of Osaka's night sky, fall and winter constellations, and finally a special program explaining how the Northern Lights (Aurora) are created.
